Will the Southern States go to Obama?
In spite of the stunt McCain pulled. Dissing Ole Miss, dissing the whole political process.

2. Probably Not
Florida is the only deep south state he has a chance in.

3. My picks: FL, NC, VA. With 2 of those 3 (or even just FL) I think he wins (just a hunch). nt

4. It's funny...
I'm originally from Louisiana, but now I'm in Tennessee.

I thought Tennessee would be more progressive, but it actually reminds me of Louisiana of decades past (at least from the last few election cycles I've seen).

I digress and would have to say 'No' to either one going Dem this year.

6. No one cares about Ole Miss getting dissed - especially SEC schools.
Most people in the South think sports when they think college, since such a small percentage ever darken the door of a college or university. Anyhow, Ole Miss has a very racist past (and present, if you ask me) and is known for the snobbery of most of its in-state students. (Sorry, Ole Miss people, it's true). Ole Miss has a great writing program and probably other good programs, but it's a school where you see girls dressed up in high heels and expensive dresses and boys with the 'Bama bangs and navy sports coats tailgating in "The Grove" with their rich mommies and daddies who mostly are racists who tolerate blacks only if they are good football players and know their place.

10. It's for sure.
I just talked to my cousin Billy Bob, and my good ol' buddy boy Heyseed and they say it's on. They are on board for sure, spit, with Obama.
