International Talk Like a Palin Day
Pirates, as you know -that's... As we all know, funny it's. Talking pirates like a funny. And that's what's great about - this is what's - America. But Palin talking - you know a different kind of, not like "ARRR, Matey!" but like. It is. It really, really is, and I respect and honor that. Honor. So perhaps the proposal - being proposed - this, THIS is what we are doing - is talking, as we all know. Palin talking, because that's really important to people in this country, this state, America. Alaska. Which close neighbors others. This why Maverick John McCain and I proposed, or will, day of international - international Talk Like a Palin Day. Because that's what - forward - moving the country forward. And that's what it's about. All, all about: Forward moving. The country.

42. She really did, in response to Katie Couric's repeated request
for specifics on John McCain's alleged effort to push for more regulation of Wall Street.

She may have said "bring" instead of "get", but otherwise, the quote is accurate.

13. Nah, you have to have these totally demented repetitive sentence fragments.
There's a really bizarre cadence to her gibberish that's hard to recreate. You get the fully-formed sentences that she's obviously memorized beforehand mixed in with the fragments of whatever-the-fuck it is that she's trying to say off-script. Then they just sort of eventually meld together into this word-mush with the occasional coherent fragment popping up out of the slime. It's fantastic. I'm a connoisseur of gibberish, and hers is some of the finest I've ever seen. I am in awe.

So, when Barack Obama says he will put some lipstick on my pig, I am, like, Are you calling me a pig? If so, thanks! Pigs are the most non-Élite of all barnyard animals. And also, if you put lipstick on my pig, do you know what the difference will be between that pig and a pit bull? I’ll tell you: a pit bull can easily kill a pig. And, as the pig dies, guess what the Hockey Mom is doing? Going to her car, putting on more lipstick, so that, upon returning, finding that pig dead, she once again looks identical to that pit bull, which, staying on mission, the two of them step over the dead pig, looking exactly like twins, except the pit bull is scratching his lower ass with one frantic leg, whereas the Hockey Mom is carrying an extra hockey stick in case Todd breaks his again. But both are going, like, Ha ha, where’s that dumb pig now? Dead, that’s who, and also: not a smidge of lipstick.

It's funny they CAN rear their vote but in what respect does it count? It can go in the air space, the space above the air and then we have to know the American people it's....important, verry very important.

37. OH-kay dere. Get yer snaw machines for the healthcare don't blink
ultimately, what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economy. Um, helping, oh, it’s got to be about job creation, too. Shoring up our economy, and putting it back on the right track. So health care reform and reducing taxes and reining in spending has got to accompany tax reductions, and tax relief for Americans, and trade — we have got to see trade as opportunity, not as, uh, competitive, um, scary thing, but one in five jobs created in the trade sector today. We’ve got to look at that as more opportunity. All of those things under the umbrella of job creation.

fyi - I just made up the stuff in the title, the rest is an actual quote from the Couric interview. Not kidding.
