I'm against what Bush wants - maybe a new New Deal would have to emerge, forcing people to be helped with health care and making the tax system more progressive.
Otherwise, the Democrats should not cave on one important thing they are asking for.

But if I were king of the Dems, that is exactly what I would suggest.
"If the billionares of America are concerned, then surely they can come up with $700 billion dollars without asking middle class tax payers to do it. Where are they when they need each other?
I know, I know, swing voters & moderates would despise such talk. LOL.
