Oran's Dictionary of the Law (1983) defines treason as: "......citizen's actions to help a foreign government overthrow, make war against, or seriously injure the ." In many nations, it is also often considered treason to attempt or conspire to overthrow the government, even if no foreign country is aided or involved by such an endeavour.

I believe, from what I've read tonight, that John McCain has used his Presidential Campaign to sabotage a potential bailout of our entire economic way of life and overthrow our government as a whole.

He did so only in an awkward and failed attempt to improve his poll numbers.

Tomorrow morning, when Wall Street opens to the news that Republican lawmakers in cahoots with Senator McCain are blocking a bipartisan deal, America will lose an addition 3%-6% of its net wealth.

Wiped off the books because of the Republicans and McCain.

Can we get out the handcuffs?

2. Treason as defined in this country...
...as per the Constitution -- and it's the only crime defined there, and not in the USC -- would not be covered. That's the bad news.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

The good news is, there's always RICO -- the Racketeer-Influenced and Corrupt Organizations law.
