Call your RW Radio Station today and DEMAND McCain stay in Washington! |
|
Our economy is tanking, and the Washington "Insiders" are divided. ONLY John McCain's cool crisis leadership skills can rescue America. For him to pack up and head off to Mississippi after suspending his campaign and pledging to skip the debates until a settlement is reached would show WEAKNESS, and he'd be giving in to all the LIBERAL MEDIA BIAS!
In fact, why not kill two birds with one stone, and have SARAH PALIN step in to speak for McCain at the Debate? She'll be ready to step in to the Presidency if anything happens to McCain AFTER January 20; why not prove her detractors wrong today?
(If you DO call, let us know how the radio hosts respond...)

2. Great idea - She is the VP nominee and would at a moment's notice have to replace McCain if needed |
|
Now, it is true that she has not yet prepared for her own debate, but there are precedents for a wife stepping in for her Senator husband. Jean Carnihan replaced her husband in a Senate run when he died in a plane crash.
One thing read in 2004, was that when running for re-election to the Senate, John Heinz was unavoidably detained by weather when a debate was scheduled. He proposed Teresa represent him and everyone agreed. By all accounts, Teresa Heinz did a fantastic job, knowing the issues as well as her husband.
Unlike these two women, it is the function of the job Palen wants, to be able to be a substitute.
