MSNBC: McCain busy at the Capitol |
They reported that he met in the Senate this morning, then walked theough the Rotunda to meet in the House with Boehner. Hmmm.....He's trying to be the one who saves the day.

1. He's screwed either way. He either can take credit for the House GOP members coming back to the tabl |
e, which in turn will piss off the GOP constituency, or he can stubbornly stand behind the GOP house members proposal which has no shot at wide support.

3. I hope so, he sure as hell wasted everyone's time yesterday, |
And I bet that he has as much to say today as yesterday, in other words, a great big bag of NOTHING.

He wants to be the hero to the crisis he created. Brilliant.

9. Guess strolling through the Rotunda now counts as "busy." |
McCain proves Obama's point over and over again -- he is truly more of the same.
All this posturing he's doing has not only not resolved the crisis, it has stalled it.
McCain is truly an ass.

12. Poor wittle Johnny McPanic.. he's running back and forth trying to save the day.. |
he needs to STFU and get the hell out of the way so they can get a deal worked out.
it's obvious to anyone paying attention that he is just trying to delay the whole process to avoid having to face Obama in a debate. I guess all his calls to Obama to come to town-hall meetings with him was just tough talk afterall. Obama should surprise him sometime and join him at a town-hall. McPanic would probably pee his pants and run away due to some "urgent business", etc.
