My mom stopped at Walgreens in TN (outside Memphis area)
and she said she was talking to another customer about Palin being clueless. She was laughing about how the McCain camp keeps hiding her. Anyway, she said the cashier slammed her receipt on the counter and rolled her eyes. LOL My mom is very outspoken so I'm very surprised she did not tell the lady a thing or two. She said she was just too shocked that the lady got that upset. LOL

2. I tend to embarrass my girls if we're out in public.
I don't care though. Some of these people walking around out there, are just as clueless as Palin!!

3. If the woman is a cashier in a Walgreens. . .
then she is too fucking stupid for even THINKING about voting for a Repuke.

5. that's insulting
You shouldn't make fun of people because they work as cashiers or other similar jobs.

Just because you work as a cashier does not make you stupid.

6. I won't speak for the poster,
but I took it to mean that, as a cashier, the woman probably isn't making the kind of salary that would justify voting for a Republican.

8. That's not how I read it the first time...
but now you mention it, yeah, that's probably right.

We do need to be a bit careful, though, about who we call "stupid" and why.

11. Got it
that makes sense I guess. I read it as calling cashiers stupid RW'ers.

I will forgive, being the generous and openminded person that I am. :)

13. Like I said,
I'm not the poster, so perhaps I'm reading into things I oughtn't. But according to my own brand of logic, the fact that any cashier would be voting for McCain with his proposed tax policy is utterly bewildering. :)

14. You didn't understand me.

I meant that she was stupid if she was voting for a Republican, especially if she's a cashier in Walgreen's. She probably has no benefits and works for hourly wages. See what I mean? I, in no way, meant that cashiers who work in Walgreens are stupid.

But thanks for alerting me to this. I didn't mean to insult anybody except for Repukes!

12. The point is the lady was working. She should not be allowed to treat customers
like shit simply because she disagrees with them politically. If she was not working then she can roll her eyes or do whatever the hell she wants. However, she was at work and dealing with a customer.
