It's a Mojo. Every time she looks at it, St. Sarah prays for God's hand to smite Israel because they have not converted to Christianity.

Once Israel is destroyed hundreds of thousands will come to Alaska to seek refuge and boost their economy. Palin will give them Gravina Island and with so many living on the island an earmark for a "bridge to refuge" will be easy to push through.
