1. Yes Obama did really well. It was at least a draw. And McSame needed to |
win to get the momentum in the campaign. And foreign policy was his strong suit. Oh my. This does bode well.

5. I actually wanted him to be... |
...much harder on McCain. Heaven knows McCain deserved it, and the Republicans deserved it. But I don't think I am (or we are) the audience he had to play to. He HAD to win over independents that are fearful or unsure of him as a leader. He did that, IMHO...by showing his intelligence on issues.

6. what would make you happy and what appeals to "undecideds" aren't necessarily the same |
By all accounts I've seen, Obama played very well to people who hadn't yet made up their minds. Of course, these people aren't voting on issues, or else they would have already made up their minds. They are voting on demeanor and who "looks Presidential."
It seems that Obama did a good job in looking that way to these folks. So, more power to him. What he did worked.

7. I agree he did a good job and even more important i was happy |
to see the reaction of independents and undecided voters. He looked like the only adult in the room and I thought he got some very good jabs in at McCain. He didn't have to be nasty to leave a mark.
