The bailout is a perfect illustration of Palin's economic policies: |

The federal government is asking for an amount UP TO $700 Billion to bail out Wall Street. That amount equals approximately $2300 dollars for every man, woman, and child in the USA, IF they use the whole amount.
As Mayor of Wasilla, AK, Ms. Palin left her town in debt to the tune of a TOTAL of $20 Million dollars. $20 million divided by a population of 7000 equals $2857 dollars for every man, woman, and child in Wasilla, AK, in ACTUAL DOLLARS.
$2857 dollars > $2300 dollars.
Per capita, Palin put the people of her city in debt to an amount much greater than what the Feds are asking for the Wall Street bailout.
Add that to the fact that she did not stop a $26 Million dollar road that was built to a non-existant bridge.
Ms. Palin is not a fiscal conservative by any stretch of the imagination.
I hope, come Thursday, Joe Biden points this out and brings it back to John McCain's judgment.
