Ron Silver is A Fraud
Much is made of him being a Democrat and supporting Bush. He sits on MSNBC After Hours on the panel.

He is no Democrat. Last night he said he was in NYC working with Guilani in his first election for mayor - was with him when Frank Luntz (pollster) congratulated Rudy on his win before the media announced it.

3. It's cute how he thinks there will be a backlash against him..
..in Hollywood...as if he was getting offers left and right, and now they might stop...

4. Bah. He's a two-bit actor.
Our side has all the good ones, let the right have a bad token.

5. No, he's a Democrat
He's actually very liberal on most issues, and he's been a big supporter of the Clintons. I kind of put him in with people like Sarandon and Robbins though who allow one issue -- in Silver's case it's Israel and terrorism -- or an ideology in the case of Sarandon and Robbins color the way they see everything. Also, they don't seem to get that just because they won't be negatively affected by GOP policies, it doesn't mean that no one else will either.

Having said that, if I ever had the chance to meet him, he'd certainly get an earful from me about his foolish and misguided support for the (P)resident.

6. Ron Silver has been a conservative asshole for as long as I've known
about him. He's more famous for being a conservative asshole than for being an actor, in fact.

8. No, Not Really.
When Limbaugh was just starting his political show, I can remember him hammering Silver mercilessly. Basically Silver was at some Clinton event, it might have been the inauguration, and some fighter jets that were a part of the event flew overhead. Silver made a disparaging comment about the how evil the jets were until an acquaintance said "ya but they're our jets now, Ron". When he heard that fell in love with them. Limbaugh did this bit time after time after time. Silver is just another sailor waiting for the next breeze.

7. Now we know why he always plays the evil guy in movies
It's not acting, it's all true-to-life.
