Even With Polls Looking Nice, Want To See Obama Campaign Continue To Attack Hard |
|
Once We Get Passed the Bailout Bill, I Would Like To See Obama Tie McCain's Crew To This Mess Phil Gramm, Rick Davis and Charlie Black. Also, Carly Fiorina to illustrate McCain's hypocrisy on golden parachutes.
Unlike the McCain campaign, Obama does not need to make shit up, or make appeals to racism or prejudice. Just hit the McCain campaign with the truth, and tie Bush/McCain's policies to the bailout. Indeed, perhaps even throw in Enron given that Gramm's wife was on the board, and how this illustrates that McCain simply has not learned from past mistakes. Lets tag him, because we know that the McCain campaign is looking for another stunt, gimmick or distraction from actual issues that affect us.

1. Yes, and all his attacks can be and must be the absolute "truth". |
|
The fact-checkers piss me off. Every time they find a McCain "untruth" they manage to find one for Obama too. We must stop giving them ammo and stick to undeniable facts.

3. Factcheckl.org's Factcheck on Social Security Ads Is Itself BS |
|
Factcheck gives McCain the benefit of the doubt by only referring to the watered down version of the Social security reform bill in 2005. However, if you read Suskind's book, the Price of Loyalty, you can see the type of bills being considered, and McCain's role in supporting privitization.
The bill was never voted on, but the final drafts did not address the future shortfall, but magnified it because the federal government would be funding two separate retirement plans!
Factcheck gives McCain a free pass by only referring to the latest draft of the social security bill without noting that it was the worse of all worlds: Privitization AND undermining the solvency of social security since it did nothing to control the growth of benefits.

2. I feels like he can pick up so much ground so easily even after leading by 10 points. |
|
And for the sake of avoiding any surprises, he best take advantage!
