Now that the Bill has Failed....

Does Congress now have an Opportunity, to re-write a bill that completely removes Paulson, Cheney, and Bush
from the plan.

A bill that includes a plan that will re-write the bankrupcy laws to allow people to keep them home.

Put a focus on the fact that the number one reason people have lost their homes is because of Medical bills not people buying homes they can't afford.

And actually take the time to find out exactly how much of the debt is "bad".

Eliminate the provision that allows foreign banks to benefit from the bailout
and
take out completely the right for CEO's to profit one red sent from taxpayer money.

And most importantly is McCain going to suspend his campaign indefinately?

1. Absolutely!

This is a chance to do it right! Screw the Repigs do it the right way and pass it without them. Make the Republicans explain why they think taxpayer money should go to Wall Street with no strings, make them explain why they think CEO's and the companies they work for should profit from their raping of our financial system. Let the Republicans tell the people why after it's become painfully obvious that deregulation is a sham that bringing back regulations is wrong. Clearly, it's painfully obvious that the Republicans can't be counted on anyway so they'll have to be worked around.
