Theory - The GOP House Killed Bill To Avoid Palin VP Debate? |
|
What are the chances that Palin's debate does not occur so McCain can focus on mustering support for the Bill?

1. Makes no sense. Palin isn't a Rep. or a Senator. |
|
What is she gonna govern Alaska and help pass this bill? Biden will go to the debate and she will too.

3. McCain hasn't voted since April and says he doesn't really know anything about the economy |
|
And yet he charged into DC (well, more like strolled) to save the day. Who knows what excuse they'll employ

10. Matthews on TV really sticking it to McCain |
|
McCain is on tape earlier today taking credit for the bill passing before it came to a vote. He even accused Obama of standing on the sidelines while only he was putting Country First. McCain will sink even further in the polls now.

2. I don't think that's why they did it, but I'm sure they will try to use it as an excuse. |

5. I don't disagree that the campaign doesn't want her to debate |
|
But it's a huge stretch trying to tie that into to this bailout bullshit. Moosealini isn't going to be involved in that clusterfuck one way or another, and Gramps doesn't even have to be in the room when she embarrasses herself before a nationwide live audience.

I think they honestly believe the market should be allowed to tank.

7. If they did, they're nuttier than I always thought Rs to be. |
|
They're that afraid of Palin trying to debate Joe Biden? Maybe they should rethink this whole VP thing and face what a disastrous candidate she is. However, nothing the Rs do anymore surprises me. You could be right.

8. If they pull that crap, AGAIN... |
|
Expect the McPalin camp to drop 10 points.
No way in hell they can play that nonsense again.
People all ready know that Palin is dumb, and that the Republican must be scared as hell to allow her to debate.
If she doesn't show up, they'll know it's a scam to keep her idiocy hidden.
Anyway, what reason would Palin have to be a no-show? What would the debate prevent her from doing...polishing her glasses...practicing her Kelly Bundy impression?
