I feel very fortunate. No electricity for over 2 weeks, but no major damage to my house, and all friends and coworkers are accounted for.

9. Si, I was in a Cat 5 Hurricane on Kauai

on 9/11/92 and we didn't have our electricity back on for about 3 months. By then we were getting use to candle light:)
