3. Sure you can... today's action showed the GOP as obstructionists.... Dems can vote for it and then
take ALL the credit for saving the economy.

4. Rewrite it
with all the bankruptcy protection and everything that all the Dems on the left want and then present that to the American people. Pass it and dare Bush to veto it.

5. Absolutely play the blame game....
the lowdown Repubs are trying to shirk their responsibility for creating this mess. It will do no good for the Dems to be saddled with this bailout when the Repubs are parading as the champions of the taxpayer. Hammer these bastards....while showing leadership.

6. Not without more pukes onboard
this is a Bush crisis and Bush with _his_ party in Congress will have to be on board. The fact that they couldn't even pull more than 33% of their fundie morons out of their chairs to vote for it shows me that they weren't going to go along hoping the Dems would pass it over opposition from the Repuke party so they could use it as a hammer for re-election.

I wish the damned thing passed but I'm glad the Democrats called the bluff of Boner and his lackeys in Congress.

8. I really think a lot of constituents wanted them to wait and find a better path-
oddly the folks that created this mess didn't seem to pay much attention until the last month or so and now they want everyone to clean up their mess immediately.
