McCain has another "McCain Moment"
John Aravosis (DC) · 9/29/2008 05:17:00 PM ET ·

McCain moments ago:

"Senator Obama and his allies in Congress infused unnecessary partisanship into the process. Now is not the time to fix the blame, it's time to fix the problem."

Catch that - it would be inappropriate to start casting blame now, says McCain, in the next sentence after he blames Obama. But considering how erratic McCain has been lately, it's perhaps understandable, although frightening, that he now can't even remember what he's just said.

3. McCain has hitched his polls to the stock market after what he said
this week. Too many people are calling him out for taking credit for its passage
when it didn't.

4. How much longer does McCain figure he can go on insulting people's intelligence?

Everyone with half a brain knows who really infused partisanship into this process from the moment McCain decided to grandstand suspending his campaign.

6. I find myself entirely oblivious to what he's saying because
I can't seem to stop counting the number of times he blinks his eyes. That's a sign of lying, isn't it, MY FRIENDS?

11. to be fair, those seemingly contradictory statements *did* come out of different sides of his mouth.
And in these trying times, we need a leader who has the skills and experience to effectively talk out of both sides of his mouth.
