Maybe KO is a friend you should listen to. Maybe Obama is not a saving angel. Maybe KO has a valid point there somewhere. I don't know, you don't know either. But I know it's generally a good idea to listen to criticism from people you respect. You, on the other hand, say FYKO without knowing what he has to say. That's dumb.
Listen to the man first.

it was an AP story late last week that Obama was willing to drop help homeowner help to get the bill passed, along with a provision that some money be put aside to build low income houseing, really perhaps you should read more and name call less.

25. your a only partially right about Obama's position |
|
However the bill upon which Congress voted today did have homeowner help in it just not as much as in compromise draft #1. The AP story said that Obama was willing to strip out the low income housing money if and only if that was necessary to secure passage. That is a little different.
KO oversimplied a story that AP sketchily reported.
I like KO but he is wrong now and then. I think he is wrong on this one.

Americans who take out loans to purchase cars, boats and even investment properties can file for bankruptcy protection and have a judge restructure their payments. But that's not the case with their home mortgages. Since 1978, bankruptcy laws have prohibited judges from adjusting loans on a "principal residence."
Some Democrats had called for the bailout bill to change bankruptcy laws to permit such restructuring as a way to offer something for Main Street America.
So successful was the effort to portray the bankruptcy idea as a deal breaker that Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, while campaigning in Florida last week, said he thought the proposal was meritorious but did not belong in the emergency bailout bill.http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-scrub29-2008sep29,0,1188714.story?track=rss

but I kinda doubt Barack is actually gonna be on that list...we'll see.
Anyone else feel KO is on the verge of being the Democratic Hannity in terms of bias. I enjoy when KO puts on conservatives..John Dean, Buchanan. I've never seen KO become combative towards any guest to his credit.
