PA,MI and WI switch from tossup to blue.
NC and MO switch from red to tossup.

5. turdblossom himself
Don't go there, all the pertinent info is in the op. It's kkkarl rover's math for this election.

He has MN and NH as toss-ups with MO, FL, NV and a few others.

yech.

6. He's got NC dead even!
NC dead even, VA Obama +1. Sure, Rove is pretty much Lucifer himself, but I don't give a rat's ass who numbers like that come from. If Obama wins NC and VA, we're looking at a smart POTUS and vPOTUS in a few months.

8. Some changes I see: Obama is now ahead in NH and VA.
NC tied? Rove must be hating that map.

7. Hate to say it, but he's correct (with asterisks)
*** He's calling any state where one candidate leads by 4 points or less a tossup. But Obama is definitely leading McCain by 100 "safe" electoral votes.

I guess a 4 point lead is considered easy to steal in his mind?

9. He's a jerk and a half, but the methodology he is using makes sense

This actually makes a lot of sense and gives a better look at trends than following any one poll - or the RCP average.

10. Actually, there is a serious logical error in it.
Read this sentence carefully:

"For example, if the most recent poll in Montana was taken on July 1, the average includes all polls conducted between July 1 and July 15."

If the most recent poll was taken on July 1, by definition there are no polls from July 2 through July 15. I think he means between June 17 and July 1.

:hide:

So much for that whole "evil genius" thing... :dunce:

12. No, the figure defaults to the average of ALL polls from July 1 - July 15
Basically, it means averaging the same trends seen in other states.
