Mr. Boehner, we, the American people, demand your resignation
Concerning the speech you gave yesterday:

If what you said is true, then a number of Republicans (including yourself) yesterday voted against a bill which would help the economy out of a coming catastrophe, in effect, voting FOR that catastrophe, out of pique. If what you said is true, you in effect stated to the American people "I don't care about your well-being or your quality of life. I rate acting against the Democratic party and its leadership as more important."

You voted specifically to destroy many American's savings yesterday. You voted to ruin many people. You voted to take away many people's sole source of retirement security. You voted to destroy much of the middle class - because you resented the fact that the Speaker of the House made a statement you didn't like.

Mr. Boehner, you were elected to represent your consitiuents. Clearly you have other priorities, as do the other members of the Republican caucus who voted a tantrum. You have broken the trust of your constituents. you clearly do not represent their best interests. The only honorable solution is for you to resign.
