Palin said it. Just try to play Devil's advocate here and actually try to defend it. I want to see how creative you guys are. ;-)

..... if it weren't for the contributions of African Americans, at times against their own will, we'd all be speaking German right now ....... trust me.

And no Hispanics, either?

When I went to Utah, it was so freaky. All white people. Like a great big GOP convention.

19. I live in the South, too.
Utah was just the most surreal experience. It was a camping trip and we were in Wal-Mart stocking up (only option we could find) and we were walking around and I was like "WHAT is wrong with this place? I can't figure it out!" and my friend said "well there are a lot of Mormons..." and that's when it hit me. EVERYONE in that Wal-Mart was white. I mean everyone. I had never seen anything like it. I started looking for a single non-white person. African-American, Asian, Hispanic, anything. Not one.

Then I started looking for them everywhere. Everyone was white. Everyone.

(Cue Twilight Zone music...)

14. It borders two foreign countries?

Wait a minute - How can Alaska be a "microcosm of America" if it is IN America?

18. Alaska borders Russia like Florida borders Cuba.
In other words, it doesn't.

The US borders two countries--Canada and Mexico. That is all.

She's rounding up Native Americans in Arizona in her spare time, and marchin' em right back.

20. The problem with her statement is that you could argue
that just about any state is a microcosm of America--except for states with populations that really don't reflect America as a whole, like the New England states, Utah and some western states and Alaska, LOL.

A state like New York is a better microcosm of America. Or Florida. Or even Ohio. But not Alaska.
