I don't get Judicial Watch... Why are they calling...
... for a formal investigation?

I would write this off as partisan hatchet work, but these are the same people who went after Cheney's Energy Commission, no?

The Kerry "investigation" into the "Combat V" designation is pointless. What are they doing? Why waste their good name on stupid stuff like that?

3. They "went after" Cheney's Energy Comm...
...by holding a couple press conferences, staging a couple stunts, and then quietly shutting the cheney up and returning to the greener pastures of the Clenis...

7. Good Name My Ass
I think the only reason they did the Cheney thing was in order to be the ones who controlled the legal process from the plaintiff's side.

8. Klayman Must Be Bored Suing Mom
BTW...whatever happened to all those great Judicial Watch investigation? Prosecutions? Convictions? Watch Dog, my ass...they just watch the GOOP cash come in. The Chenney thing was an aborition and probably they got a nice pay-off.

BTW...I'm no Bob Barr fan, but he, along with our old buddy The Dick Armey work for the ACLU.

Judicial Watch . . . who pump salacious and sensationalistic issues and make money off of it, e.g., so-called "Judicial Watch" stalked after Clinton during his presidency, and were active against Gore in the FL voting in the y2k election. They're a bunch of lowlifes.

Didn't they back Paula Jones too?

11. Let 'em do it
They'll just make fools of themselves and waste their money. It's all just talk to make us upset anyway, they have to know the facts.

Either that or they really are stupid.

FACTS: Kerry was awarded the Silver Star at An Thoi in Vietnam shortly after an action that took place on February 28, 1969. The decision to award Kerry the Silver Star was made by Admiral Zumwalt, who at first had put him up for the Navy Cross, but decided that award would take too long to clear with the Navy bureaucracy.

There are a number of witnesses to the medal ceremony in which Zumwalt pinned Kerry with the Silver Star, including Commander Charles Horne and Commander George Elliot, who later said, "We were trying to pay tribute to Kerry and the others for going above and beyond the call of duty. The Silver Star is always a big deal." Tommy Belodeau (deceased) and Mike Madeiros were given Bronze Stars, and Del Sandusky, Fred Short and Gene Thorson were given Navy Commendation Medals with Combat V in the same ceremony at An Thoi.

This is the Silver Star:

This is a photo of Kerry and his crew after the medal ceremony. Kerry wears the star on his uniform, the medal on the right.

besides making a name for himself stalking after Clinton when Bill was in office, bashing Gore in Florida during the y2k election, accepting $550,000 from Richard Mellon Scaife . . . Larry's now running for the U.S. Senate in Florida!!! HOLY CRAP
