Poll: Obama has 15-point lead over McCain in Pennsylvania
A new Quinnipiac University poll finds Democratic presidential
nominee Barack Obama has opened up a 15-point lead in
Pennsylvania over Republican nominee John McCain.

The poll was conducted after the first debate between the two
candidates Sept. 26.

Prior to the debate, Obama was ahead of McCain 49 percent to
43 percent. But the post debate numbers show Obama ahead
54 percent to 39 percent.

5. Has early voting started in Pennsylvania?
It will be nice if these folks go vote early! :-)

6. That would be nice
but no early voting here.

I think Obama has a decent lead in PA, but this poll may be a bit of an outlier. We'll see. CNN is coming out with one today.

15. YEP ... early polls had BO up double digits ...
and I said that was not realistic.

IMO, the over and under for Pa is a 4 or 5 point win.

7. The same Q-Poll has Obama up 8 in Ohio & Florida
Quinnipiac is pretty reputable, too.

8. Let's Hope So..Maybe Q-Poll doesn't want to just "make it a race"
but, rather, do the right thing, and Poll Truthfully!

10. That's a hell of jump in Ohio!
After McFool's pathetic couple of weeks and Obama's impressive debate performance it's believable.

I want to see a few more like that in Ohio before I start clicking my heels.

13. I'll go back to the Star Wars line "Don't get cockey kid"
I'm in Steeler country and I have to deal with a lot of low information voters. I won't trust polls that don't agree with what I see and hear in my part of the world.

14. I know Obama is going to take PA, but you are right about that line
from what I hear locally, there is a push, to skew the polls because that is their last hope. That if people who have not participated in the system before, or do not vote, if they think that it is in the can for Obama, they will not turn out.

I know that is a stupid premise to work from. But we are talking desperate republicans here, this is not the bradley effect, but the rush effect.
