She gave that answer, the audience guffawed, and someone suggested going to a break under her breath. I think Whoopi knew EH was about to dig her own grave or get stormed by the audience.

Barbara gives her a chance to say why Sarah Palin is qualified to be president -- since they had already discussed how she would be just a heartbeat away -- and the first thing she says is, "Tell me why Obama is qualified." She can't even answer a straight question about Palin. The audience just groaned! Then she finally says, "She's running the State of Alaska. She's an expert in terms of energy. She has been in charge of the National Guard in times of war."

I read another message board about The View (it's funny bc it's mostly people all complaining about Elizabeth. I don't watch anymore, but it's funny to read...even one of the few Republican defenders of Elizabeth on the board finally said after one show that she needed to leave the show bc she is ridiculous). Anyways, a running joke on the message board is how Elizabeth always says inatimeofwar! "We can't elect Obama inatimeofwar!" and "It's important to think of these things inatimeofwar!"
