National Enquirer credible source?
The newspaper (sic) that broke the story of John Edwards affair, subsequently proven true, is now saying that Sarah Palin also had an affair. For what it's worth, and it may be worth everything, here's the story.

1. It's a credible source for DU, for most Dems, no
If I believed that one, I would also have to believe their stories about Obama. And, they didn't really break the story on Edwards. MSM was already aware of it and would not publish it.

5. I think the fact that they were the first to publish it meets the definition of 'breaking' the story
Although an affair in the midst of a presidential primary compared to an affair that is 12-years-old may be why MSM is ignoring the current story.

2. Of course the MSM took up Edwards story but are trying to bury Palin's
It's OK for Repubs to have affairs but not Democrats.

3. They were right about Edwards.
Interesting that we haven't heard a peep about this on the MSM.

8. If anything,
the Enquirer seems to have much more evidence against Palin than they ever did against Edwards.

Interesting that the McCain camp is no longer threatening to sue.

4. Sometimes they get the truth. Sometimes they lie. I agree
it just shows how much media is controlled by the right that the Edwards story got so much play while the Palin affair story just sits there.

K&R hoping for media deconsolidation when Obama is president.

14. They're always right by the checkout stands-- hard to ignore
I think they should banish them somewhere where they're not so in-your-face but it'll never happen.

11. Old ladies are buying up that issue and the one with Cindy
like, well, CAT FOOD! Everytime I've been to the store last week I see one of those mags in the bags of an older woman. If it keeps just one of them from voting for that freak for even the wrongest of reasons it's worth it.
