In football terms, Obama is Emmitt Smithing McCain.
One of the reasons the Dallas Cowboys of the eighties were a remarkable team was because of Emmitt Smith and the Cowboy offensive line.

In the 4th quarter they simply dominated other teams because the O-line would wear down the opponent and Smith would run them over. It was fun to watch because they were so dominant.

This is what is happening now with Obama and McCain. It is the 4th quarter and Obama is simply dominating McCain and starting to pull away, hence the dramatic jump in the polls.. McCain is cooked folks---cooked. Obama will keep piling up the yards and this will be a 4 touchdown blowout.

5. Um...that's the Dallas Cowboys of the NINETIES, not the eighties.
But this Cowboys fan does like your analogy.

8. Obama is no Emmitt Smith
Highlight of Emmitt's incredibly insightful NFL commentary last year was him pointing out that if the New York Giants won the NFC championship game they just might make the super bowl. Smith would give Palin a run for her money.
