The contrast with Biden's responses was like night and day. Palin could not think of another Supreme Court decision so she babbled on about states rights, her being a Mayor and Governor and several other off-topic areas, just to eat up the time. I wonder if they were actually kind enough to edit out a follow-up by Couric.

Biden's answers were well-informed, clear and responsive. He brought up a violence against women bill that he had a thousand hours of hearings on. Apparently, the law was overturned by the Supreme Court, I think related to lack of federal jurisdiction.
