80,000 More Dems Than GOPs Now In Nevada
(10-01) 15:51 PDT RENO, CA (AP) --

New election figures show Nevada Democrats are steam-rolling their Republican counterparts in the bid to register new voters.

The Secretary of State's Office says Democrats now boast more than 80,000 active registered voters than Republicans.

The latest report shows Democrats have registered 79,798 voters since September of last year while Republicans have registered only 3,249.

Democrats enjoyed a statewide registration advantage of 4,117 at this time a year ago, but that difference now has grown to 80,666 as of Sept. 30.
