Me? ignore her and concentrate your fire on McCain, but if she gives you an opening, don't hesitate to take it.

2. Be gracious, charming, smile (but not too much), and address her
neutrally as "Governor Palin".

And be FUCKING LETHAL.

4. She's going to be going after Obama, so he needs to go after McCain
rip McCain to shreds. Let her hang herself. She does a good job of making a fool of herself on her own.

13. DING DING DING! Truth Hurts A Lot, you're our grand prize winner!
She's going to be going after Obama, so he needs to go after McCain...

Yes, that's it! Ignore her, in a way, and talk about the REAL problem with the GOP ticket--McCAIN!

6. Unlike many, I'm not opposed to Joe getting snarky,
as long as she's the one that starts the nastiness.

Otherwise, I'd just tell him to pretend that Palin is a member of the audience who just happens to be on stage with him. Don't condescend--speak TO her (and the audience and Ifill), but talk ABOUT McCain. Make her irrelevant. And since she's demonstrated that she's painfully ignorant of McCain's platform, let her tie herself into knots trying to defend a record about which she's clueless.

8. He needs to explain it to the American people like they were 2 year olds
We all know Joe is one of the smartest mf'ers in the room but sometimes he comes across as too smart. Uses really big words that most folks need a dictionary for. Plus, he needs to let Palin ramble on and on however, if she spews a lie, then he needs to jump in and correct that shit straight away.

As far as the smile a lot, I wouldn't smile too much, that'll come across as condescending. I'd imagine if he smiled only once he'll be labeled as condescending. So I suggest he only smiles when he catches her in a lie... just like Obama did with McBLT.

10. Defend Obama.
Palin is going to be spitting out some serious bullshit about Obama. She will use all the Hannity talking points. Biden should try to correct the record whenever he gets a chance. Call the whole McCain campaign out for lying all the time.

16. Be completely respectful. Always call her Governor Palin and..
when disagreeing say things like "will all due respect" or "I respectfully disagree". Also never criticize her directly but just link her to Bush, McCain or the Republicans and attack them.
