My Dish Network has an Obama channel
Channel 73 on my Dish Network is listed as "Obama" and has from 12-8 today Obama discussing his economic plan. Shades of Ross Perot buying time in 1992?

I searched DU for the last 3 days and couldn't find it, so I posted it here for people.

2. Yes, because he probably bought the time with his own
campaign money - he's obviously a socialist, too.

10. Direct TV is owned by Rupert Murdoch
Dish Network has George Soros as an investor.

12. Oh so another reason to keep Dish Network
I have had so many people telling how much DTV was better than Dish for... no reason at all, except the fact they have it, therefore it is better than what I have.

Except... Dish had a free DVR offer.

15. in my area Dish is cheaper than Direct TV and cable.
And we got a better dvr than the cable company offered--has 100 hours of memory instead of 30. I'm sticking with it.

16. I believe....and it has been discussed many times among dems...
...that the only way a dem can get their message out is if they have their own network. A while back, wasn't Al Gore going to get a network?

Anyway, I guess that answers the question of why we have to pay for signs and bumperstickers. I still have stacks from the Kerry campaign, that were given out liberally.

17. i SAW that! My power has been out for the past three weeks
because of Hurricane Ike-

It FINALLY came back on yesterday, and i saw the Obama channel-

the only problem? My DVR receiver is taking FOREVER to re-program, and as of this morning, I can only get local channels-

Hopefully it'll be bug-free when I get home today...

OK that was more info than you needed, but there it is lol
