The Repugs used to use "states' rights", then "law and order" then "welfare queens" then "quotas" as code words for "black". I will be counting how many times Churchy Spice drops "small town" values into her answers in an effort to stir things up. There will also be plenty of fundie speak like "blessed" but they are already on her side.

1. True, but it also does duty in multiple other ways:
anti-gay
unsophisticated
misinformed
parochial
and so on

In fact, the RW has a very uncomplimentary view of small-town life -- because they assume that all small-town people are like themselves.
