Debate advice for McCain as he retreats to Sedona
This is a serious question. What advice do you think his people are giving to McShame?

My bet is they're coaching him (much as they did Palin) to ignore all questions and instead use this as a stump speech to keep harping on "terror" and "can't blink" and "don't wave the white flag at terrorist who would seek to destroy what America stands for."

He can't leverage his decades of experience without Obama hitting him back with "more of the same," so I think he has to reinforce his hawkish positions and appeal to pro-military undecideds.

1. Seeing as how badly he was perceived in the last debate...
they are probably telling him to stand up straight, smile a lot, and look at Obama frequently.

In other words, better body language.

wouldn't be surprised if he does a shout-out to his mother in the audience
to reinforce his "youth."

6. That's funny. Possibly only funnier thing would be if they showed
mama in the audience with a red scarf tied around her head.

4. I wonder if he'll lose the "maverick" bullshit.
Everytime Palin said it during the debate, the instant response line on CNN took a nosedive.

7. The town hall is one of the last lines of defense for that campaign.
If Obama manages to win or tie it, that's trouble for them.

8. The only thing that would help McSame . . .
. . . would be for him to switch parties live on the air.
