"Change" vs "Country First"
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 07:46 PM by RollWithIt

Haven't seen much discussion of this. Isn't the "Country First" slogan basically an attack on the patriotism of Democrats? That we don't value our nation just as much as the McCain ticket?

And btw, wtf is with the green?

1. "Country First" sounds like a slogan for a radio station
that could but won't play the Dixie Chicks.

3. Actually, a lot of those same country stations started playing them again...
in 05. Heavy rotation when the follow up album came out. Clear Channel was so fucked up in 04. Look where they are now.

2. I think there's an additional implied message.
"Country" or rural voters versus city/suburban voters.

4. It suppose to mean that McCain puts his country above politics
They are trying to imply that Barack Obama is putting his political career ahead of what's best for the country.

McCain hasn't done a terrible job preserving his brand image, but that is what his campaign is trying to promote within all this chaos.
