As we descend into McCain's 30-day desperation shitstorm against Obama, remember this:
Edited on Sat Oct-04-08 11:18 PM by Richardo
When Mr. Wenner asked how Mr. Obama might respond to harsh attacks from Republicans, suggesting that Democrats have “cowered” in the past, Mr. Obama replied, “Yeah, I don’t do cowering.”

http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/06/24/the-inner-obama/

:patriot:

To wit:

“Turn the page on the financial crisis by launching dishonorable, dishonest ‘assaults’ against Barack Obama. Struggling families can't turn the page on this economy, and we can't afford another president who is this out of touch.”

Then Obama says: “I'm Barack Obama and I approved this message.”

http://news.yahoo.com/s/politico/20081005/pl_politico/14283

and...

"On a day after we learned that America lost three-quarters of a million jobs this year and a week after our financial system teetered on the brink of collapse, John McCain and his campaign have announced that they want to 'turn the page' on the economic crisis facing working families and spend the last month of this election launching dishonest, dishonorable character attacks against Barack Obama. We understand that it's not easy for John McCain to defend the worst economic record of our lifetime, but he will have to explain to the people struggling to pay their bills and stay in their homes why he would rather spend his time tearing down Barack Obama than laying out a plan to build up our economy," said Obama-Biden Spokesman Bill Burton.

4. I hope Obama
takes this shit directly to McCain at the debates. Call him on his lying bullshit negative campaign. To his face. Politely, of course.

10. There is nothing McCain can do to look good at the debate. Nothing.
He looks terrible. He is old and doddering, his face looks terrible. No amount of make-up can make him look decent, only more strange.

He is totally unlikeable and has no ability to portray himself as a likeable guy.

He cannot attack without looking bitter. That's because he is, and any attempt to look like he isn't will not work. Any smile he puts on after an attack or insult is that phony, grimacing smile that makes him look creepy.

He will have to look at Obama at the next debate. And he will look very uncomfortable doing it.

The remaining debates will seal the deal for Obama.

17. You forgot
he can't talk about policy because most Americans disagree with his policy.

he can't talk about character, because the only character he has shown was 40 years ago and it just highlights he recent lack of judgment and character.

13. Biden: They were procedural votes - no taxes were increased....
By the same measure McCain has voted to raise taxes 400+ times. It's bogus.*

*paraphrase of Senator Biden.

16. The shitstorm of lyin filth proves the bankruptcy of the republican
party. They have sold this country down the river, waving the flag and singing hymns to Jesus as they lie, cheat, steal and slander.

I pray to God that their evil party will be totally destroyed starting Nov 2008.

20. Awesome.
I love that picture. And I love the fact that he doesn't "do cowering". Kerry did that too much in 2004 and we needed someone as motivated as his supporters were. I think we got that this time. :)
