Palin misquotes her Starbucks cup "Place in Hell reserved for women

who don't support other women", attributing it to former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. She said this at a rally yesterday in California.

I guess the McCain campagn is pursuing a "WTF Strategy".... point the lipsticked-pitbull at an audience, and let 'er rip. Nevermind the incoherence; just make a lot of noise in fromt of a lot of people, they haven't got not a damned thing to lose.

Well, at least it's true what she said to Katie Couric: she gets her information from reading what's in front of her, including her coffee cup!

At a rally today in California, Gov. Sarah Palin offered up a rather jarring argument for supporting the Republican ticket. "There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women," the Alaska Governor said, claiming she was quoting former Clinton Secretary of State Madeleine Albright.

The statement came after Palin had recounted a "providential" moment she experienced on Saturday: "I'm reading on my Starbucks mocha cup, ok? The quote of the day... It was Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State and UN ambassador. ... Now she said it, I didn't. She said, 'There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't support other women.'"

Actually, Albright didn't say that. The real quote is, "There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't help other women." (Sources made the same point to CBS's Scott Conroy.)

Palin seemed to realize that the line could be viewed as grating. As the audience cheered, she remarked: "Okay, now, thank you so much for receiving that well. I didn't know how that was gonna go over. And now, California, let's see what a comment like I just made, how that is turned into whatever it'll be turned into tomorrow with the newspaper."

1. She drinks mocha latte?
What kind of conservative is she?! Latte's supposed to be a damn liberal drink! McCain didn't vet her very well... quick, make sure she's never tried arugala, or else we lose most of our anti-liberal talking points!

2. I'm thinking this is great material for a negative ad...
Obama only sources the NYT, WaPost and WSJ for news and information, while Palin gathers wisdom from her coffee cup!

And, what the gosh-darned heck was six-pack Sarah doin' at a limousine-liberal elite joint like Starbucks, anyway?

5. She's a latte-drinking maverick, OK?
Back off! That's what it means to be a maverick! You can do whatever you want and nobody, absolutely nobody has the right to question you on it. Got it?

;)

Sometimes her answers are as inscrutable as a fortune cookie. Now I know why.
