The best part of this election is that the 'pukes all have to defend the man they detest more than
anything on earth (no, not Obama - I'm talking about McNutter) and it is killing them to have to do it. And they can't even deny it because WE ALL KNOW THAT YOU HATE MCCAIN AND THAT'S WHO YOU ARE STUCK WITH ON THE TICKET.

Sucks not to like your candidate - I wouldn't know since I am not voting AGAINST anybody, I am proudly voting FOR somebody. It just sucks to be a republican, doesn't it?

1. That dawns on me frequently
Edited on Sun Oct-05-08 01:31 PM by tsegat01
when I watch them spout off their "talking points" on TV. They hate this guy and it is so degrading to have to pretend he is this great candidate. Oh well, they're getting the hell they deserve.

5. They have to defend a woman they detest as well....
Behind the scenes I'm sure there are a lot of darts being thrown at pictures of Sarah Palin. She's been a hugely labor-intensive VP choice, and in spite of all the GOP's efforts she's still causing the ticket to sink like a rock.

6. Palin has accomplished twice what she was supposed to
And twice what she wasn't.

Her job was to solidify the conservative/religious branch of the republicans who hate John McCain. She did that after the RNC, and she probably did so (to a lesser extent though) after the debate, and in the process, she helped quench the calls of the same base wanting her off the ticket now that they've gotten to know her.

However, she also solidifies our base (and pushes independents over to us). I think Obama got around $10 million in one day after her RNC speech, and I bet he got a nice uptick in fundraising after the debate as well. Plus, all those undecideds moved toward us.
