Some of the positive side effects of Sarah Palin running for the 2nd highest office in all the land
She united DU, at least for the time being.

She helped to unite the Democratic Party.

She just might be the final nail in the coffin of the Republican Party, which has been nothing but a complete farce for so long.

She re-vitalized SNL like few others could ever do.

She makes us all feel grateful that she was in the other party, not ours.

and last but not least, she gives us all something to laugh about forever.

Thank you, Sarah! Even though you're a flagrant asshole, a complete dork, and the most incompetent VP choice EVER, we do appreciate everything that you have inadvertently done for us!

PS: The honorable, late James Stockdale wishes to thank you, too, because from now until eternity, you will be making everyone forget about anything he ever said that was perceived as being embarrassing during a Vice Presidential debate. Your silly act will be next to impossible for anyone to surpass. As a Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah, you are a true national embarrassment, and you have moved the bar to an entire new level!
