You know what's coming. McCain is going to use clips of Hillary in the upcoming Ayers attack ad.
He is already using her comments in his campaign's press release about the issue.

Even Hillary Clinton Criticized Barack Obama’s Relationship With Bill Ayers. SEN. CLINTON: “Well, I think that is a fair general statement, but I also believe that Senator Obama served on a board with Mr. Ayers for a period of time, the Woods Foundation, which was a paid directorship position. And if I’m not mistaken, that relationship with Mr. Ayers on this board continued after 9/11 and after his reported comments, which were deeply hurtful to people in New York, and I would hope to every American, because they were published on 9/11 and he said that he was just sorry they hadn’t done more. And what they did was set bombs and in some instances people died. So it is — you know, I think it is, again, an issue that people will be asking about. And I have no doubt — I know Senator Obama’s a good man and I respect him greatly but I think that this is an issue that certainly the Republicans will be raising.” (Democratic Presidential Candidate Debate, Philadelphia, PA, 4/16/08)

1. A lot of shit is coming in the next 30 days. We should expect it.
They will do whatever they can get away with to win. Problem is, all that negativity won't work this year and will hurt McCain.

5. Dem surrogates have Obama's back -
and it seems the MSM (from what I saw this am) are debunking the GOP's attacks. I think this trend will continue. The more extreme the McCain campaign becomes, the more rediculous they look.

3. Kind of easy to discredit, though
Hillary was trying to win at the time; it's obvious she's saying it's a bad thing because the Republicans will use it against him (therefore, vote for me in the primary, because I don't have this baggage). Trouble is, Hillary would have had her own baggage.

Joe and Mary Six Pack who are still undecided just won't follow this. They'll be like, of course Hillary was against Obama. They know they were at each other's throats for a while.

4. Just like they have been using Bidens comments
The Ayers issue will go nowhere, just like Biden saying Obama is not qualified to be president is going nowhere.

6. Maybe we should look deeper into the reasons for the violent
protests of the 1960's and the Weather Underground. Seems to me there were untold numbers of innocent Vietnamese civilians bombed and napalmed by Navy pilots such as McCain. The carnage made Iraq look like a teddy bear picnic.
