Is it time for Biden to attack McCain/Palin for hating America?

After Palin has the nerve to say "Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,", I think it's time for Biden to attack on how McCain picked as a VP running mate someone who pals around with people who hate America so much they want to secede from it.

I'm not sure if this would help or hurt though. It could cancel out the claim in people's minds. It could raise questions in people's minds about Palin and thereby McCain since he picked her. Or it could just draw more attention to the Palin claim and leave LIV with the impression that it's true. Perhaps Obama's tactic of stating that they're changing the subject is enough, but I hope it doesn't make it seem that by not carifying it or strongly denying it that it is actually true.
