******** OMG -- Huge McCain signs going up in my county have NO PALIN on them! ******8
Today I saw two professionally printed big, white 4X8 McCain signs with red lettering that says only "John McCain for President 2008 www.JohnMcCain.com Paid for by John McCain 08" along well-traveled roads in Spokane County, WA. I pass by these locations frequently and these signs weren't there ten days ago.

Out of embarrassment, none of the Republicans here have been putting their party affiliation on their political signs, but gee, to NOT PUT YOUR OWN VP on the sign?

Embarrassed finally, are you now McCain? Well, the whole damn country has been embarrassed by your pick from the get-go.

Anyone seen these sign in their part of the county? Wonder if Palin knows? By the way there are NO big McCain/Palin signs with the blue background and gold star in my area -- only a few yard signs.

1. I saw one of those today in Rockland County, NY. I wonder if
they were ordered before the Palin pick.

6. I thought that too, but I just talked to the owner of one of the signs
and he said that, as far as big sign, that's all he saw at McCain's Spokane headquarters. Maybe the campaign is dumping these in states like WA that are barely competitive? Perhaps they're trying not to raise the ire of more moderate Dems, by not having Palin on the signs?

4. This is the worst run Republican Campaign in existence. That's good for us but also

disrespectful since our candidate would probably have pwned Rove (cause Bush is just a marionette) back in 2000 (much love to Gore).

5. Maybe they were printed before he announced his running mate.
If you already have gigantic signs that you've paid for, why pay for more, especially when you can't afford to?

7. Haven't seen that one
But I have seen one that says Family for McCain in SE WI. No Palin on that version of the lawn sign either.

8. But I bet they start putting signs with Palin alone in the bible belt.
I suspect that religion may have been a missing puzzle piece in the campaign until she was named.

Apparently McCain didn't think the campaign needed much in intellect and stability. Good luck with that.
