There has been some debate about how much Palin should be ignored and how much of Democrats' focus should be trained on Palin.
While she was so completely unknown, I think it was good to focus our attention on her to help with the process of defining her.
But -- now -- Palin has been clearly defined in America's eyes. She's a nut, an extremist, and a tool. Everyone who is apt to form an opinion of Palin and then vote has already formed that opinion, and if any people still have a high opinion of Palin, then those people will not be deterred in their views no matter what is further disclosed about her:
Sarah Palin has already done 99% of the damage to her ticket that she can do, and so now we really need to focus full time on why Obama is the one who will bring the change which will protect the middle class and why McCain's past as a war-mongering, self-congratulatory, corporatist toady makes him the exact wrong person to protect anyone but his fat-cat financial sponsors in these tough economic times.
Let's drop 90% of these Palin threads and take the fight to the battlefield on which the election will be won or lost: The Obama vs. McCain battlefield.
