Voter Protection Fraud - I've been assigned to Ohio!!!

Has anyone else gotten their assignments yet? Here's the email:


Dear Voter Protection Volunteer:

Thank you for being so patient with us. With a fast-changing campaign like this, it has been very valuable to us to wait until now to assign you to the highest need states.

We have now assigned you to: Ohio. This is an extremely important state both to the campaign as a whole and to our voter protection effort. Your time and talent will be put to great use there.

If, however, you can't travel to that state, please let me know as soon as possible so we can reassign you.

This is how the process will work going forward:

We are uploading all of your contact information to the state team. Over the next week or so, you should be hearing from them about scheduling, training, logistics and your specific assignment. From then on, you should direct any questions to the state staffer who contacts you -- but we're always here if something goes wrong.

Thank you again for your incredible generosity. We look forward to working with you on a successful Election Day effort!

3. A misleading phrase. Never voter fraud, only election fraud.

Voters typically do not defraud, despite the GOP success in getting ID laws that disenfranchise.

Fraud happens, as always, so let's hope we have some handle on the lack of computer transparency.
