Project Vote: FIND NEIGHBORS WHO MAY THINK THEY REGISTERED BUT PROBABLY ARENT AND HELP THEM FI X IT
http://www.projectvote2008.org/

There are hundreds of thousands of people in the United States who filed registration applications but were not put on the voter rolls because of actual or alleged defects in their applications.

Unless these people have already fixed the problem or filed another application which was accepted, they will not be able to vote in November.

This site help you find the names and addresses of people in the counties named who are in this situation.

If you know any of them, please contact them immediately and let them know they have to fix the problem immediately. The information on the site have been obtained from election offices in the counties or states indicated.

The deadlines for the states below (and others we hope to list) are:

Colorado: October 6

Florida: October 6

Indiana: October 6

Michigan: October 6

Missouri: October 8

New Mexico: October 7

North Carolina: October 10

Ohio: October 6

Pennsylvania: October 6

Texas: October 6

Nevada: October 4 (by mail) October 14 (in person)

In some states, you may be able to fix the problem after the deadline, but don’t count on it. Lots of states don’t allow that.
