Poll question: What will undecided voters ask Obama at tonight's debate?
Since they are undecided at this point (which means they haven't been paying attention), what will they ask Obama?

9. I hope so, but have a feeling there will be a couple duds
Those questions and answers will get the headlines because discussing the economy or taxes or healthcare demand a brain.

2. It's too bad there won't be a real moderator there to weed out all the Rove plants in the audience
Instead we get Tom Brokenjaw, GE whore.

3. All of the above
since the media has to do something to tighten the race. How do I know that an "undecided" voter posed the question being asked?

how will we pay for it. Or what if violence flares up in Iraq after troops are withdrawn.

I don't really think the undecideds are bumpkins as the poll suggests. They're still stuck on some one issue, I'm thinking.

11. Nashville is a fairly sophisticated city, and is a blue spot in a red state
so the audience could have a lot of variety. Really depends on who got the ticket request in quickest.

13. Nashville is a pretty cool town indeed
I just wonder who the heck would be undecided at this point. Chances are they are low information voters.

16. It Depends on How the Audience is Selected
Really depends on who got the ticket request in quickest.

and how they select which ticket requests to fill. It would be so easy to pack this with McCain supporters.

6. I HOPE they'd ask him any of those questions..
It'd give him a chance to clarify all of the crap that's been spun about him to 50,000,000+ people.. but I don't think that will happen.

Are the questions pre-approved before they get asked? Are they asked to both candidates or just one?

TIA

14. Agree

I'd love to have an audience member ask him about being "sworn in on the Koran" and all of the other crap.

Obama will then deal with it once and for all, and for a large audience.

7. Taxes. "Senator Obama, my wife and I make $95,000 a year. What will you do to our taxes?"
There WILL be one question like that one, and Obama will be able to assure voters with his answer.

12. "Obama will raise your taxes."
That has been the mantra in every McC/Palin stump speech. I hope it is asked tonight so that Obama can debunk it again.

18. THAT GOP lie has been effective. Half the voters still believe that.
Hopefully, that ends tonight.

15. All of the Above
Brokaw has been working with the McCain campaign for weeks to make sure McCain can "win" this "debate".
The questioners have all been picked out and given their questions, and he knows who to call on.
