Major Cable News: Almost no coverage of Bushs Speech?
I find this interesting. I was unable to see Bushs speech last night, so I'm switching through the major cable news channels to catch what blurbs of it they choose to put up. Whats weird is I've found almost NOTHING. Caught about 5 seconds on Fox, which they followed with a key section of Kerry's followup, which the Fox talking heads ripped apart as per Fox doctrine.

Any guesses why I'm not seeing snippets of the Bush RNC acceptance speech?

4. That's what I'm guessing.
But there are no clips from which to judge.

I've also read of interuptions from protestors inside MSG. Was the speech constantly interrupted?

5. MSNBC/CNN have been showing Bush's Campaign speeches /Indiana
I think that's where he is today. I've not seen a clip of Kerry's speech, but I know that MSNBC interrupted Hurricane coverage to go to Bush "out on the stump" and they seem to be spending "the day with him" when they aren't doing Francis coverage.

I only tuned in for the Hurricane coverage, and was annoyed that they are both giving him free airtime again with no coverage of Kerry's great speech last night except for a little on the scroll bar which very few folks read, I think.

6. That's probably the best indication
that it actually was a flop, despite what the pundits, and even many people on here are saying.

They know in their hearts if it was a flop, despite what they may be saying, and their behavior is the best indicator of what they really believe.

I watched most of it, hoping to get all fired up and outraged, and just ended up getting bored and walking away before it was finished.

It was IMO a very poor quality speech.

11. It was awfully long
and Bush made the mistake of running into The Daily Show's time... tsk tsk tsk... he should have known Jon Stewart is more important than his silly speech.

It was a long speech with almost no substance. The one line in the speech I liked "We may not agree, but at least you know where I stand" is the whole reason why I am not voting for him. There are many people I disagree with who stand on noble ground. I know where Bush stands alright and I want nothing to do with it.

12. Putin not much of a friend
He couldn't have let those hostages suffer longer to help his pal Bush out? The GOP has a history of extending the suffering of innocent people for political advantage.
