Post-Convention Polls Taken During a Holiday Weekend..........
I'm wondering whether any of these polls can be accurate. The RNC convention was held so late, and I'm even assumung that given the fact that the past week is a major vacation/travel week, were most people even paying attention?

And how will polling organizations be able to conduct accurate polls over the Labor Day weekend? Any thoughts?

1. Will be inaccurate
but probably in our favor as only those who have money will be away from the home this weekend. The rest of America who is living off unemployment checks will be celebrating Labor day by praying for some Labor.

4. There are a lot of budget-tight Republicans out there....
but my concern is just that people will be with friends and family, at parties and such, even more than usual this weekend. Those who are home answering polls will be slim-pickings.

2. Zogby recommends we start to pay attention to polls taken 9/14-15
and released 9/16 or later - until then the media whore amp will be on high so as to distort the likely outcome (it comes on whenever Bush has an "event".

The first debate will settle this - I expect Kerry plus 2 on 9/16 and +3 after debate.

3. Anyone see CNN's Quickvote Poll today?

From the CNN homepage:

To win the presidential election, what should be President Bush's top priority?

The war in Iraq
National security
The economy
Values

Did Daryn Kagyn write this?
