Not to count a chicken before it's hatched, but...
It's been 32 years since we had a *real* Democrat poised at the threshold of winning the presidency, an honest person who wants to help the bottom 99% (economically speaking) of Americans. For so many years, I've had a knot in my chest that's finally starting to loosen - I'd given up hope that we'd ever reach this point again.
Obviously, nobody should let up in their efforts. But I just felt like taking a moment and reflecting on the patch of bright sun and blue sky almost hidden among the dark clouds of today's headlines.
Now, back to work. Let's get the job done!

I think a lot of us thought 2004 was in the bag, but we were mistaken.
But, we're not repeating that mistake this time, which is a good thing.

3. No we're not. Until 11/5, we're losing, no matter what the polls say... |
