1. Wow. This is insane. Philly is going to flip.
One of these rallies is 6 blocks from my house. Amazing.

Well, we had plans this weekend, but I guess they're scrapped now! ;)

2. Why is he still campaigning in PA? I'd rather he stick to NM, CO, FL, OH, NC, NV and VA.
If he wins two out of those seven states it is over.

PA looks to be a solid win for Obama.

5. Not if Philly doesn't come out to vote.
In Philly there is tremendous enthusiasm, but many people are first-time voters. So it will take some prodding to encourage them to follow through and vote. And Obama doesn't pay street money so he's going to need an army of volunteers to turn people out.

Saturday's events are aimed at building that army.

7. Wow. Thanks I completely missed that.
I guess it goes to show how important Philly is.

I wonder if they thought that Philly didn't come out big enough during the primary?

10. Street Money
He will be paying street money for the election which is a smart and pragmatic move as well. Nothing can be left to chance.

4. Obama in Pennsylvania, McCain in Iowa.

Why? Is this incompetent strategy or nefarious activity (McCain)? So strange.

8. Great move by Obama
He is suring up his base and this will help drive the GOTV effort in Philly bigtime. He is looking to drive up turnout bigtime from Philly the same successful strategy Rendell used to win his race as well. Obama is leaving nothing to chance. This aggressive assault on PA by the campaign this weekend should create a firewall around PA the same way they creted a firewall around Michigan a few weeks ago when he had numerous events there.

9. People in PA are lucky
I hope he gets a big turnout, and I hope this move helps Obama snag PA on Nov. 4
