Here is another Idea for Thread rating .. Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down
It is Simple & Clutter Free

This gives us the simplicity of the current system and the convenience of voting down a Bad post.

The "Recs' Column could simply be the difference between up and down votes.

What say?

3. I generally like this idea
It gives members a way to express their opinion without calling posters trolls.

On the other hand, I can see how the system could lead to hurt feelings.
