Apparently, no Secret Service people heard the "kill him" guy at the event. They only found out about it from TV. If they haul away a few freaks for questioning on the spot, it would send a message to the freak zone.

about what kind of job the Secret Service is doing.

But I have no doubt they are doing an awesome job. These guys have technologies and practices that we don't even know about. I think it one of the most venerated institutions of our government, kind of on par, IMO, with the General Accounting Office. They are only interested in doing the BEST job they can and nothing less.

I truly believe that if this stuff keeps at the McCain rallies, an officer of the Secret Service will hold a meeting with the campaign to warn them about the dangers of what they are stirring up, if they haven't already.
